Assessment Task
During this assessment task, students will create a digital photo story timeline of their life, using Microsoft PowerPoint software, which they must complete in correct chronological order from when they were born until the present time. They must then insert their 5 photographs taken at important stages of their life, and enter information about each of the photographs used.
There is an Assessment Task sheet provided [link below] for students to follow during the completion of the digital timeline PowerPoint presentation, which includes all the information and components to be included in the presentation.
A rubric for the assessment task has also been provided [link below] for use in the marking of this assessment task. Students will be assessed on:

- Whether their photo story timeline presentation is in correct chronological order [AC Content Descriptor ACHASSI055 - Sequence information about people's lives and events (ACARA, 2015)].
- Their ability to transfer data (photographs) using peripheral devices (USB, digital camera) [AC Content Descriptor ACTDIK007 - Identify and explore a range of digital systems with peripheral devices for different purposes, and transmit different types of data (ACARA, 2015)].
- Their ability to present data (photos and written information) using simple software (Microsoft PowerPoint) [AC Content Descriptor ACTDIP009 - Collect, access and present different types of data using simple software to create information and solve problems (ACARA, 2015)].
